Nowadays the international communication cannot be considered without the knowledge of one, two or three foreign languages. The intercultural integration, globalization, cultural and linguistic diversity has increased the demand for professionals who are able to provide effective communication, efficient and fruitful cooperation and teach two or three foreign languages and foreign literature. The high status of a foreign language in the world requires the highest standards of teaching and learning. Diploma of a philologist, a teacher of foreign languages and literature opens the door to a world of intercultural communication.

Speciality: 035 Philology. English Language and Literature. Media communication in International Relations

Master’s Degree: 1,5 years of study (full-time training)

Diploma: Master’s Degree in Philology (with European Diploma Supplement)

Qualification: Master in Philology, Lecturer of English and Literature, Second foreign language (German or Spanish, French, Polish etc.), Specialist in Mass Media Communication

The aim of curriculum is to prepare highly qualified, socially responsible specialists with a professional outlook, linguistic and cultural competences, as well as the pedagogical skills and the skills required for further professional self-development of foreign language and literature teachers and lectures, and specialists in Public Relations, who are able to meet current requirements of Ukrainian and foreign trade market.

Master’s Degree:

You will receive a diploma from Alfred Nobel University and a master’s diploma from the Humanitas University in Sosnowiec, Poland

Wyższa Szkoła HUMANITAS (Sosnowiec), Poland.

Diploma: Master’s Degree in Philology (with European Diploma Supplement)

Qualification: Master in Philology, speciality “Business Communication”.

Programme requirements (ECTS credits).

In accordance with the Standard on Higher Education set for the programme “English Language and Literature. Media communication in International Relations” (Master’s degree), 90 ECTS credits are awarded in total. The curriculum of the programme “English Language and Literature. Media communication in International Relations” (Master’s degree) incorporates: mandatory courses (25 ECTS credits) and elective courses (35 ECTS credits). Practical training which includes internship – 9 ECTS credits. The Final Examination comprises the Comprehensive State Examination (6 ECTS credits). Masters’s thesis (15 ECTS credits)

Educational goals of the programme.

General goal of the study programme “English Language and Literature. Media communication in International Relations” (Master’s degree) is to train the specialists who use latest teaching technologies to form an effective, high-quality, actual educational system and to conduct professional activities in international and intercultural communication. Training specialists who are able to create their own media products and work in the field of international cooperation due to the acquisition of general and mastering the professional (special) system of competencies which is the basis of competitiveness of graduates.

The programme’s objectives are designed to:

  • acquire knowledge on providing foreign language in oral and written communication and teaching three foreign languages and foreign literature in educational institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation;
  • perform research and administrative work in educational institutions of I-IV levels of accreditation;
  • implement communicative and media strategies in international relations;
  • form effective, high-quality, actual educational system focused on ensuring the international competitiveness of graduates;
  • train specialists in activities related to the analysis, creation and assessment of the written and oral texts of different genres and styles, organization of successful communication in foreign languages, international media communication and international cooperation. The specialists are able to solve complex problems that involve research performance and/or innovations implementation and characterize by uncertainty of conditions and requirements.
  • train students interested in scientific research of foreign languages and foreign literature and methods of their teaching, problems of international media communications for further education of the third level.
